The movie is fine enough, I think both kids and adults would find it entertaining. The character dynamics are fun to watch and definitely the strongest part of the film. (Lex and joker, Robin and batman, Superman and batman.) But the catch is that writing was done in/for Lego Batman 2 the video game, Since this movie is just the cutscenes from the game edited slightly differently and with a bit more polish in the rendering software. And while if someone watches this for the first time and had never played the game they would have no idea it's a bunch of cutscenes. But after you play the game you can notice the moments where the character is using in-game idle animations or very minor cuts that would have otherwise led to gameplay.
